It began with three friends on a road trip – a 14-day excursion on the trans-peninsula highway running through Baja, from the border of Tijuana to the southern tip of Cabo San Lucas. The crew was drawn to the hundreds of beautiful handmade grave markers that pepper the desert and coastal regions. Inspired by the colorful crypts along the road, they began to document and cartographically mark specific GPS coordinates as a way to retrace their southward route. The photographs from the trip were then compiled into an art book called “Road to Baja” and became the subject for our latest OBEY Awareness Collection. The crew also met with several orphanages, known as “Casa Hogars”, and saw the project as a way to give back to the region that provided them with so much inspiration.

100% of the net profits from the Road to Baja x OBEY Awareness Collection was donated to the orphanages we partnered with in Mexico. The ultimate goal is to provide food, clothing, health supplies, household items, and more to children and orphanages in need.
